About The Position
We are seeking a Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner for a 168-day locum tenens assignment in New Mexico. This position is set to start on Oct 25, 2025, and will involve a 7on7off schedule, covering 12-hour night shifts from 6p-6a. The role includes handling both adult and pediatric patients in a Trauma Center, utilizing the Powerchart EMR system.

Responsibilities and Duties Provide comprehensive care to adult and pediatric patients within a high-pressure environment. Manage cases ranging from minor injuries to severe traumas, including neurological conditions. Utilize Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) training in patient care. Work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the best patient outcomes. Adhere to the highest standards of medical practice, ethics, and professionalism at all times.
Additional Information Required board certifications include Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (AGACNP-BC) and Neurological Surgery. The candidate must hold a valid nurse practitioner license in New Mexico. Experience with Powerchart EMR system is essential for efficient documentation and workflow management.
