Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of experience in commercial construction management, preferably in C-store or retail environments. - Strong understanding of fueling systems, environmental regulations, and site safety requirements. - Proven ability to manage multiple projects and drive schedules under tight deadlines (will be managing up to 4 projects at a time across various locations in the Ohio Valley) - Proficiency in construction management software and reporting tools (Procore).

- fueling experience is technically a plus as the customer will provide a 3 day training, though the ideal candidate will already possess this experience

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Construction Manager to support one of our largest clients in the southeastern region of the United States for a combination of new construction and remodels for a customer within the oil and gas industry. Consider the SE region as the following: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. These projects will be throughout the region, so heavy travel is expected. There will be a $50 per diem and other travel expenses will be reimbursable according to our clients expense policy. The Construction Manager will serve as an Owner’s Representative for remodels and ground-up construction of convenience stores, including fueling infrastructure. This role is responsible for overseeing all phases of construction, ensuring quality execution, and driving the general contractor’s schedule to meet aggressive timelines. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of fueling systems, permitting, environmental compliance, and coordination with vendors and subcontractors. Key Responsibilities: - Act as the primary liaison between ownership and general contractors, ensuring project goals are met. - Drive and monitor the GC’s construction schedule, proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies. - Oversee fueling system installation including tanks, dispensers, piping, and associated electrical and safety systems. - Manage remodels and new builds from pre-construction through closeout, including permitting, inspections, and punch lists. - Coordinate with internal stakeholders, architects, engineers, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance and timely delivery. - Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and budget tracking throughout the project lifecycle.

Pay Rate: 50 - 65hr
