Position Summary

Under limited supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Associate 2 pulls parts and assists customers, and performs general warehouse duties. This role may specialize in a higher-level warehouse function and may assist in training the Warehouse Associate 1.

Essential Functions

• Perform general warehouse tasks.
• Provide customer assistance as needed.
• Fill orders for customers and the shop.
• Stock receipting.
• Deliver parts.
• Order packing.
• Assist with warehouse rearrangements.
• Bin counts.
• Cycle counts.
• Truck loading and unloading.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.

Area of Responsibility

Must work in one or more areas on a full-time basis with limited direct supervision.

• Shipping and receiving.
• Customer and Shop credits.
• Remanufactured cores.
• Will call / cashier.

Education, Experience, and Skills Required

• Must have a valid California Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Must have high school diploma or equivalent (or equivalent experience).
• Must have understanding of general warehouse duties.
• Must be able to obtain a valid forklift certificate.

Physical Demands

• Walking and moving about on foot often through uneven terrain.
• Handling: Works with hands.
• Lifting: May lift up to 60 lbs. with frequent exertion.
• Reaching: Extends hands and arms in any direction.
• Stooping: Bends body downward and forward by bending at knees or waist.
• Standing: Remains in standing position as required by the job.
• Climbing: In and out of equipment.
• Vision: Reads work tickets and parts books.
• Talking: Communicates via telecommunications and in person.
• Sitting: Sits in equipment and in vehicles.

Environmental

• Noise: Works in conditions with constant or intermittent noise.
• Temp/Weather: Works in a warehouse and outside with variations of temperature and weather.
• Exposure: Foul odors, fumes and harsh substances.
