About The Position We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatrician for a 3-day locum tenens assignment in New York starting Sep 10, 2025. This opportunity involves a blend of half and full-day shifts focusing on urgent and sick visits, with the possibility of seeing newborns recently discharged from the hospital. Candidates must be pediatric-trained with a warm personality and hold a current DEA certification. This locum tenens role is ideal for physicians dedicated to pediatric care and available for a brief, impactful assignment.

Location: New York Start Date: Sep 10, 2025 LOA: 3 days Provider Type Needed: Pediatrician Schedule: Wednesday (Sep 10, 2025): 12pm-7pm Thursday (Sep 11, 2025): 9am-3pm Friday (Sep 12, 2025): 9am-2pm
Responsibilities and Duties Provide care for pediatric urgent and sick visits Evaluate and manage acute illnesses in pediatric patients Assess and treat newborns recently discharged from the hospital as needed Collaborate with staff to ensure high-quality patient care Maintain accurate and timely patient records
Additional Information Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics (no family practice boards) Active New York medical license required DEA certification required Experience with pediatric patients across all age groups preferred Strong interpersonal skills and a warm, patient-focused approach
