Position Summary Our client is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to perform routine and advanced CT scans using GE and Siemens equipment. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and capable of working independently. Additional responsibilities include patient transportation, contrast agent administration, and occasional general radiography at their off-site facility in Yorkville. This role provides critical diagnostic support for urgent care and hospital-based patients. Key Responsibilities: Capture high-quality images using computed tomography technology for routine and complex procedures Utilize expertise in operating multi-vendor CT systems, including GE and Siemens platforms Transport patients as needed Safely administer contrast media to enhance imaging results Expand scope of practice by performing diagnostic radiography at satellite locations as required Handle emergency and STAT exams efficiently Qualifications: Hold a degree from a radiologic technology program accredited by the American Medical Association (AMA) or equivalent ARRT registration Hold a valid state of Illinois radiologic technology license American Heart Association CPR certification Specialized certification in Computed Tomography (CT) is highly desirable Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods Capable of lifting and positioning patients Possess fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination necessary for precise equipment operation Compensation for this role is determined by a combination of relevant factors, including academic credentials, professional background, skillset, internal pay parity, and prevailing industry rates.
