The Human Resources Recruiter/ Generalist role combines talent acquisition expertise with core HR responsibilities to support the full employee lifecycle. This role requires a professional with a passion for identifying top talent, enhancing the employee experience, contributing to a positive workplace culture, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service aligned with Superior’s values.

Candidates must be available to work on-site, five days a week, as this is a position that requires daily in-office attendance.

Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Talent Acquisition (60%) Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptions. Source, screen, and interview candidates using various platforms and techniques. Manage the full-cycle recruitment process from posting to offer negotiation. Maintain and optimize applicant tracking systems (ATS). Develop and maintain accurate position descriptions in collaboration with project managers and site supervisors. Coordinate and participate in job fairs, campus recruiting, and networking events. Train managers in recruiting techniques and HR best practices, including compliance and documentation. Track recruitment metrics and provide regular reports to leadership. Travel occasionally to the central region office to support HR initiatives and field operations.

Human Resources (40%) Assist with onboarding and orientation of new hires. Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures. Support benefits administration and respond to employee inquiries as needed. Assist in employee relations matters and contribute to workforce development programs. Contribute to performance management processes and training initiatives. Help implement HR programs related to engagement, retention, and development. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. 3+ years of experience in recruiting and/or generalist HR roles. Previous experience in the construction industry or a related industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices. Proficiency with HRIS and ATS platforms. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. UKG Ready (formerly Kronos Workforce Ready) system experience is preferred. Human Resources and/or Recruiter certification is preferred
