SAP Project Assistance Specialist Contract for 12 months Onsite in Research Triangle Park, NC

This contingent position will play a vital role in supporting high-impact projects through data accuracy, quality assurance, troubleshooting, and system optimization. This position is ideal for professionals with a strong foundation in SAP, data management, and workflow automation—especially self-starters that thrive in collaborative, fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities Cross-Functional Collaboration • Partner with project teams, process experts, and key users to test scripts, resolve issues, and share outcomes. • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress.

Data Integrity & System Management • Set up and maintain SAP master data, including inspection plans, methods, and certificate profiles. • Prepare and execute mass data uploads with precision and consistency.

Quality & Compliance Support • Manage data entry and reconciliation for non-conformance (NCM) and product rerelease processes across multiple SAP environments. • Assist in aligning specifications across systems and support action planning.

Reporting & Analytics • Support report migration and harmonization efforts, including data transformation, testing, and optimization. • Contribute to Power BI report development and deployment.

Training & Knowledge Sharing • Participate in training sessions and help transfer knowledge across teams to ensure project continuity and success.

Qualifications

Education & Experience • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with SAP S4/HANA (preferably SAP QM). • Experience with data entry, quality management, and large-scale IT project support.

Preferred Tools & Technologies • SAP S/4HANA: Exceptional experience in Quality management, (QM), Production planning (PP) and Materials Management (MM) workflows. • Power BI: Dataflows, datasets, Power Query, report authoring, deployment. • Power Automate: Flow creation and integration with SharePoint, SAP, and Power BI. • Familiarity with Azure DevOps and project management tools is a plus.

Core Competencies • Attention to detail and data accuracy. • Strong organizational and time management skills. • Effective communicator—both written and verbal. • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. • Quick learner with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. • Multilingual skills (Spanish, German, English) are a plus.

Work Environment • Based in Durham, NC (RTP Office). • Flexibility to collaborate with global teams across time zones is essential.
