About the Role

All duties are performed in a work-safe manner; plant safety rules are followed and individuals work as a team member. Haul Truck Drivers have primary responsibility for performing all plant tasks that require the use of heavy mobile equipment. The associated equipment of the limestone quarry and the plant equipment are also considered equipment to be operated by mobile operators.

What You’ll Accomplish

  • Communicate with load and unload areas, haul materials safely to designated areas, maintain safe speed, and observe all plant traffic controls.
  • Perform walk-around pre-trip safety inspections. Identify safety problems or concerns and report unsafe conditions to Supervisor, including near misses and areas for safety improvement.
  • Perform maintenance activities to keep haul truck maintained to required standards and assist with other plant maintenance activities as needed, including site housekeeping.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments and promote a culture of safety.

What We’re Looking For

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Required Work Experience: Prior experience operating haulage trucks or heavy equipment; 1-3 years of experience
  • Required: Valid Driver’s License

Additional Requirements

  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including respirators. Employees required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face to pass fit tests.
