Overview

Truck driver position requiring a Class A CDL with responsibilities including safe loading and unloading, pre-trip inspections, load safety, adherence to fueling procedures, communication with dispatch, and maintaining vehicle and equipment cleanliness. Compliance with DOT, company, biosecurity, FSMA, local, state and federal laws, policies, practices and procedures is required. Duties may include other related tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload buggies and cases in a gentle and careful manner.
• Perform pre-trip inspection.
• Ensure safety of load.
• Comply with established company fueling procedures.
• Communicate with dispatchers.
• Maintain vehicle and equipment cleanliness at all times.
• Comply with DOT, company, biosecurity, FSMA, local, state and federal laws, policies, practices and procedures.
• Perform all other relevant duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL A) required.
• 1+ year verifiable commercial driving experience required.
