Milling Specialist

Our client, who provides precision machining services, is needing a Milling Specialist to join their team. Job Title: Milling Specialist Location: Circle Pines, MN Pay Rate Range: $52,000 - $83,000 Shift: 1st or 2nd shift What's the Job? Operate and maintain CNC and manual milling machines to fabricate aerospace parts and components from metal, composites, and other materials Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to set up and run milling machines accurately Inspect parts using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM, etc.) to ensure they meet required tolerances and quality standards Set up and calibrate machines before production runs, adjusting tool settings, speeds, and feeds to ensure optimal performance What's Needed? High school diploma or equivalent required Proven experience as a mill operator in a manufacturing setting, preferable in aerospace or precision machining. Strong knowledge of CNC and manual milling machines, machining processes, and tooling Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals Proficiency in the use of measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers, CMM). Familiarity with aerospace materials and industry-specific quality standards (e.g., AS9100) What's in it for me?
