Overview

Verizon Retail Sales Associate – full-time. You’ll join a team focused on unlocking your full potential and sales success within one of our retail stores. This role emphasizes customer service, technology solutions, and building relationships with customers and the community.

What you’ll be doing...

• Generate retail sales by using passion for cutting-edge technology and exceptional customer service to expand the Verizon network.
• Learn and uncover customers\' needs by creating connections and asking the right questions.
• Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete top-down sales solution.
• Close sales using communication skills to fulfill customer needs with simple and intuitive tech solutions.
• Continuously develop yourself through ongoing training and up-skill in merchandising and inventory operations.
• Grow your customer base by outbound calls and texts to current Verizon customers interested in our products and services.
• Engage with the community outside the store to expand your loyal customer base at off-site Verizon events.

We’re hiring immediately. This isn’t just an entry-level retail position. You can earn $16.00 to $21.00 per hour in base pay, plus up to $16,000 per year in individual-based commissions if you hit all sales goals. Top performers could earn additional commissions, potentially bringing total compensation to $65,000+ to $73,500+ annually. Compensation varies by geography, hours worked, and performance.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

• High school diploma or GED
• One or more years of relevant experience (work or military)
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (schedule known four weeks in advance)
• Openness to pick up additional shifts and earn more income, typically during summer months and peak vacation periods

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Experience in a commission-based environment
• Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions
• Customer service experience
