Pharmacy Technician
for a
2-month temporary assignment
at our facility in Horsham, PA. This position supports licensed pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. You will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of pharmacy operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist pharmacists in organizing daily workflow and medication preparation Perform data entry for prescriptions and generate labels and documentation Compound medications and prepare pharmaceuticals under pharmacist supervision Maintain, clean, and track infusion equipment (e.g., pumps) Follow all USP 797 and USP 800 standards for cleanroom procedures Conduct and document quality control activities, including sterility testing and air sampling Manage patient records and update demographic information in the system Communicate with patients regarding refills and inventory needs Verify insurance authorization prior to shipping medications and supplies Assist with scheduling, shipping coordination, and delivery tracking Handle administrative tasks, including faxing, filing, and inventory management Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required Valid and violation-free
Pharmacy Technician license or certification
