The Role
As a Junior Marketing Account Manager, you’ll support the execution of B2B marketing campaigns and events, collaborating closely with internal teams, and clients. You’ll gain hands-on experience in campaign planning, client communications, and project coordination, helping ensure successful outcomes across the accounts that you work on.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
Serve as one of the day-to-day contacts for client communications and project updates, ensuring the client is kept up-to-date and next actions are circulated promptly. Prep for, and participate in regular client meetings and calls to review timelines, performance, and feedback. Escalate client concerns to the Marketing Account Manager or Client Lead and support resolution efforts. Develop a strong understanding of client businesses, industries, and goals. Prepare campaign status reports and performance metrics for clients and internal stakeholders.
Campaign and Project Management
Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored marketing and business development strategies. Support the execution of integrated marketing campaigns across content, event and business development outreach channels. Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform client strategies. Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and proposals for client meetings.
Team Collaboration
Work closely with internal account teams to foster a collaborative, high-performance environment. Coordinate internal resources to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery.
Event Coordination
Manage logistics for client events, including venue sourcing, speaker coordination, and on-site execution. Brief designers and developers to create engaging landing pages and event assets. Attend and manage events, ensuring smooth delivery and stakeholder satisfaction. Travel may be required for events outside your local area.
Budget & Financial Support
Assist in tracking project budgets and providing updates to the Marketing Account Manager. Support financial reporting and reconciliation under guidance from senior team members.
Operational Excellence
Follow internal processes to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery. Monitor client satisfaction and proactively flag challenges to the Client Lead. Collaborate across departments to ensure integrated campaign execution.
New Business Development
Support the preparation of proposals, presentations, and pitches by gathering insights and coordinating logistics.
Required Qualifications
1–2 years of experience in marketing, client services, or account management, ideally in a B2B environment. Exposure to event planning and campaign coordination. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
Preferred Skills & Experience
Experience with project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Asana). Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot). Exposure to marketing automation tools and digital analytics platforms.
