Location : Hybrid in Seattle, WA (3 days onsite) Duration : 18-month contract, possible extensions Pay Rate:

$50.00-58.33/hr, depending on experience

Principal Duties and Responsibilities: · Performs Scrum Master duties for 2 to 3 scrum teams. · Coordinate sprints and the associated scrum ceremonies (daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint review/demo and retrospectives). · Coaches the team in scrum framework and in self-management and cross-functionality. · Facilitates internal communication and effective collaboration utilizing JIRA, Confluence and MS Teams. · Works with product owners and business analysts to ensure the backlog is in a perpetual ready state and prioritized to cover 2 to 3 sprints of work. · Removes impediments to the Scrum Team’s progress and escalates issues and risks to the Program Manager, Product Owner, and Technology Manager. · Ensures deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint. · Maintains key metrics and monitors the team’s performance for each sprint. · Creates and delivers workstream reports for business and Tech stakeholders. · Supports the product owner with the quarterly planning process. · Acts as Scrum evangelist and mentor, ensuring that the Scrum principles are properly and consistently practiced by the teams. Guides the teams to higher scrum maturity. · Manages conflict resolution within the teams. · Support development and maintenance of relevant process documentation.

Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience: · Strong experience working in an Agile environment and performing the Scrum Master role (3 to 5 years) · Ability to coach multiple teams in scrum framework, self-management, and cross-functionality (3 to 5 years) · Strong knowledge of JIRA and Confluence (3 to 5 years)

Qualifications, Skills, Experience and Personal Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree in IT, Project Management, or related discipline. · Ability to understand and navigate complex processes. · Familiarity with project management processes and tools. · Strong experience working in an Agile environment. · Excellent knowledge of the scrum framework and artifacts with the ability to effectively apply them to maintain high performance teams. · Ability to coordinate people and projects across 2 to 3 scrum teams concurrently. · Experience with JIRA and Confluence software is required. · Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities · Strong analytical, problem solving and root cause identification skills. · Excellent communication skills - interpersonal, written and verbal. · Excellent listening and facilitation skills; the ability to sense organizational vibrations. · Coaching and mentoring skills, especially influencing others to move toward a common goal or vision. · Entrepreneurship and resourcefulness – an initiative-taker. · Self-awareness, with a desire for constant self-improvement. · Must be a collaborator and able to work with and through others. · Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
