We are seeking a skilled Metal Worker to join our dynamic team in Beaumnt TX. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in metal fabrication and machining, with a focus on precision and quality. As a Metal Worker, you will be responsible for creating and assembling metal components according to specifications, ensuring that all work meets industry standards. Responsibilities Fabricate metal parts and components using various tools and machinery. Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine project requirements. Utilize GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles to ensure accuracy in measurements. Operate CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines for cutting, shaping, and finishing metal products. Perform basic math calculations to verify dimensions and tolerances. Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues during production. Conduct machining processes, including milling, turning, and grinding. Program CNC machines as needed for specific tasks or projects. Utilize electrical discharge machining techniques when required. Employ precision measuring instruments to ensure quality control of finished products. Safely operate forklifts for material handling within the workshop environment. Skills Proficient in metal fabrication techniques and processes. Strong understanding of GD&T principles. Experience operating CNC machinery is essential. Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Familiarity with various machining processes, including milling and turning. Ability to program CNC machines for specific tasks or projects. Knowledge of electrical discharge machining is a plus. Competence in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers. Forklift operation experience is preferred for material handling tasks.
