SLAY Events is seeking an experienced, energetic, and solutions-driven
Seasonal Event Coordinator
to join our team on-site for a large-scale, holiday-themed public event in downtown St. Louis. This role runs from
November 10 through December 30, 2025 , with pre-and post-event support for load-in/out. As part of our production team, you'll help oversee
operations, entertainment, talent, suppliers, staffing, guest experience, and safety
— ensuring a seamless and memorable holiday experience for thousands of guests. Key Responsibilities Event Operations Support vendor load-in and load-out schedule (October through January). Ensure event spaces are fully set, clean, stocked, and guest-ready each day. Monitor executive restroom trailers for cleanliness and supplies. Talent & Staff Management Oversee staff and talent check-in/check-out. Manage costume, props, and accessories inventory, including maintenance and cleaning. Coordinate talent meals, beverages, and backstage needs. Ensure talent remains in character and positioned throughout performances. Guest Experience Provide accurate knowledge of property activities and event timelines. Assist with guest flow, traffic coordination, and safety measures. Ensure compliance with event safety and health protocols. Troubleshooting & Support Proactively resolve on-site challenges or escalate to the Event Manager as needed. Manage on-site office, supplies, and replenishment. Assist with staff/talent catering and other operational needs. Requirements Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum
3 years of on-site experience
as an event coordinator, manager, or in a theatre-related capacity. Flexible availability—including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Physically able to walk/stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs. Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. Compensation Hourly wage:
$18.00 – $25.00 , depending on experience. Overtime pay for hours worked beyond 40 per week.
