Position Overview
We’re looking for a
Head of Events
to lead and scale Komodo’s experiential offering in the U.S. This role is for someone with extensive
national event experience
and a track record of running
large-scale experiential activations across multiple U.S. markets
.
The Head of Events will be responsible for shaping the
vision, strategy, and delivery of all experiential campaigns
, managing budgets, building strong client relationships, and leading a growing team. You’ll ensure every activation reflects Komodo’s standard of creative excellence and delivers measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
Define & Lead Strategy
– Own the vision for Komodo’s experiential events, ensuring alignment with client goals and brand positioning. National Execution
– Oversee multi-market activations, ensuring consistency, quality, and impact across all U.S. events. Client Leadership
– Act as the senior point of contact for event strategy and delivery, driving trust and long-term partnerships. Budget Ownership
– Manage multi-million-dollar event budgets with accountability for efficiency, performance, and ROI. Partnership Development
– Build and maintain relationships with leading vendors, venues, production teams, and talent. Team Leadership & Growth
– Lead, inspire, and expand Komodo’s events team, fostering collaboration with creative, social, and influencer departments. Performance & Innovation
– Establish KPIs, track performance, and continuously innovate to keep Komodo’s experiential offering ahead of the curve.
What We’re Looking For
10+ years of experience
in experiential marketing, events, or large-scale activations. Proven success running national U.S. campaigns
(multi-city tours, large consumer activations, high-profile brand events). Agency experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to balance
creative vision with operational precision
. Advanced financial and budget management expertise. Strong leadership and team-building experience. Willingness to travel extensively and be on-site at key activations.
