Project Engineer
with strong experience in large-scale civil infrastructure projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile public works developments including highways, bridges, tunnels, mass transit systems, and water treatment facilities. Key Responsibilities: Assist with monthly billing processes, change orders, and cash flow projections Review shop drawings, mock-ups, and project specifications to ensure compliance Coordinate with QA/QC on subcontractor compliance issues and maintain records Identify and procure critical materials, long-lead items, and schedule deliveries Support the development of work plans and site execution strategies Help manage document control, safety protocols, and environmental regulations Ensure compliance with all OSHA health and safety standards Perform material quantity takeoffs and assist in field supervision Contribute to purchase order and subcontract preparation Assist in schedule creation and updates using Primavera P6 or similar tools Provide field support and coordinate subcontractor operations
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field 10+ years of experience on heavy civil construction projects, including those over $100M in value Experience in cost reporting and understanding contract/legal claims processes Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with industry platforms like Procore and Primavera P6 Excellent written and verbal communication skills
