Job Duties including (but not limited to) the following:
Responsible for insurance verification for new and existing specialty patients by phone or using pharmacy software or payer portals.
Responsible for insurance re-verification for all specialty restart patients
Responsible for insurance re-verification for all specialty patients at the beginning of each month and each new year.
Responsible for advanced monitoring expiring authorizations for existing specialty patients
Responsible for securing advanced re-authorization for existing specialty patients.
Participate in surveys conducted by authorized inspection agencies.
Qualifications:
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent customer service skills and ability to understand and communicate technical issues
Prior experience in pharmacy or home health company is preferred
Prior experience in a consumer related business is preferred
