BG Power Advisors is hiring: Senior Civil Project Manager in Chicago

Our client is seeking a Senior Site/Civil Project Manager with expertise in Renewable Energy or Transmission & Distribution projects to join their collaborative Chicago team. This role is pivotal in design, permitting, and client management, contributing to the leadership driving their growth in the electric power utility market.

Target pay up to $170,000 with a lot of flexibility for the right candidate.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead site/civil and multi-discipline efforts for a variety of project types, including Transmission, Substation, and Renewable Energy, from concept through completion.
• Oversee site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, erosion and sediment control, stormwater management, and SWPPP preparation.
• Manage design and permitting for institutional, commercial, warehouse/distribution, and mixed-use projects for public and private clients.
• Collaborate with office leadership on growth plans, staff utilization, and business development initiatives.
• Integrate geotechnical and environmental engineering considerations into land development projects.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a Professional Engineering (PE) license.
• 10+ years of site/civil engineering experience, with a focus on land development for T&D or Renewable Energy projects.
• Strong client development, management, and proposal-writing skills.
• Experience with AutoCAD or Civil 3D preferred.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with reliable transportation for site visits and client meetings.
• Active participation in professional organizations a plus.
