Position: Security Guard - Industrial Patrol in Danville, VA. You will safeguard clients in Manufacturing & Industrial environments and related sectors.

What You’ll Do

• Use our scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver a consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures and site policies as directed by Allied Universal
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established protocols
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including perimeter checks
• Observe and report unusual activity or security concerns
• Assist in emergency response activities as needed, supporting site operations and team members
• Maintain a visible presence to deter unauthorized access and inappropriate behavior
• Document incidents and daily activities according to site requirements

• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
• Desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet
• Customer service experience
• A valid Guard Card or security-related license
• Access control and/or badge experience
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Background check per federal, state, and local laws
• Qualified applications with criminal histories will be considered in accordance with laws
• Drug screen where permitted by law
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local regulations
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only

Monday – Friday, 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
