Responsibilities

• Lead the HR department and collaborate with departments to create and implement effective HR strategies
• Contribute to employee engagement, talent acquisition, performance management, training and development, and employee relations
• Provide guidance and support on HR matters and maintain strong communication with a diverse workforce

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or minimum 4 years of HR experience; prior hotel experience preferred
• Strong and effective communication skills
• Ability to interpret and advise property management according to employment laws of jurisdiction
• Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other team members
• Strong employment law, recruiting, and retention background
• Experience with Affirmative Action is helpful
• Ability to manage a diversified workforce
• Demonstrates a high degree of confidentiality and common sense
• Ability to work in a stressful environment and remain flexible to constant change
