This role embodies exceptional Guest Services within our Food & Beverage team. As a Barista, you will craft extraordinary and exclusive experiences from the moment guests step into the coffee shop, aiming to provide a fulfilling and captivating start to their day.

Essential Job Functions

• Offer our guests unparalleled service with warmth and thoughtfulness
• Prepare beverage orders, generate checks, and handle payments efficiently for each guest
• Maintain daily organization of the coffee shop, ensuring all products are readily accessible
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock shortages
• Reduce spoilage and waste through efficient productivity methods
• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and optimal functionality of all refrigeration, storage, and work areas

Hotel Specific / Incentives

The DoubleTree Hotel believes top tier Team Members deserve recognition. By securing a position with us you will be awarded with up to $1,000 in incentives paid throughout your first year. Incentives will be awarded on your 30th day of employment, plus at 6 months and again at 1 year.

Physical Demands

• Ability to kneel, stoop, pull, grasp, lift and carry, and transport 50 – 75 lbs
• Ability to stand and walk in a confined space for the entire shift
• Manual dexterity to use and operate food and beverage equipment

Qualifications

Education

• High school diploma or its equivalent

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year Coffee Shop Attendant in hotel preferred
• Minimum of 1 year Coffee Shop Attendant experience in a similar role, size of operation required
• Food Handler's Certification required
