Senior IT Support Specialist – Richmond, VA

This role focuses on providing high-quality IT support to CoStar Group employees and acting as the single point of contact for information and problem resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance, assistance, coordination and follow up on client questions, problems, or malfunctions of all systems, applications, hardware and software installed and maintained by the company.
  • Train, coach, mentor, and support Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT Support Specialists; act as a backup for IT Support Team Leads.
  • Manage tickets: assist with dispatching and assignment as necessary; perform day-to-day ticket resolution for complex issues and VIP support; escalate when needed.
  • Inform management of potential problems and identify problem trends.
  • Install hardware and peripheral components (monitors, keyboards, printers, hard drives, etc.).
  • Install, configure, maintain and upgrade computer hardware and software.
  • Update and create documentation used across the Service Desk organization.
  • Provide videoconference administration and support.
  • Perform any other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited, not-for-profit university or college.
  • 5+ years of experience in a corporate IT or Service Desk role.
  • Experience implementing TCP/IP at the workstation level.
  • Experience supporting Windows 10 workstations, Macs, Active Directory, Microsoft Office Suite and Windows File Permissions.
  • Ability to lift/move equipment up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • O365 Administration experience.
  • Experience supporting mobile devices such as iPads and iPhones.
