Pay Rate: $28-29/hour
Schedule (Rotating Schedule): Day Shift: Hours: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Monday-Friday Duration: 4 weeks Days Off: 5 consecutive days off (Saturday to Wednesday) at the end of the shift cycle Swing Shift: Hours: 3:15 PM to 1:45 AM Thursday-Sunday Duration: 4 weeks Days Off: Monday to Wednesday off Split Shift: Hours: 3:15 PM to 11:45 PM Monday-Wednesday, and 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Saturday-Sunday Duration: 4 weeks Days Off: Thursday and Friday
Responsibilities: Perform analysis of intermediate process samples and finished tanks of petroleum products. Operate technical equipment like Automated Distillation Apparatus, -Viscometers, Flash Point Analyzers, etc. Train in lab-specific modules, completing qualifications in various subdivisions such as Gas Streams and Jet. Regularly troubleshoot and ensure QA/QC compliance in accordance with industry standards. Participate in all safety training and attend monthly lab safety meetings.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or Associates degree in Chemistry or related field. Must be open to working rotating shifts including day, swing, and eventually graveyard once qualified in relevant subdivisions. Previous experience in refinery preferred.
