Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Paralegal
to join our Corporate Office in Arlington, TX. This is a dynamic role ideal for a seasoned legal professional with
8+ years of experience
in a corporate legal environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong legal knowledge, exceptional organizational abilities, and the capacity to handle complex legal matters independently. This role supports a wide range of legal functions including
contract negotiation, intellectual property protection, compliance risk mitigation , and
employment law , while ensuring alignment with company objectives and legal standards. Key Responsibilities Draft, review, and edit a wide range of legal documents and correspondence. Manage legal matters independently, escalating complex issues to senior staff or external counsel as necessary. Conduct legal research and provide actionable guidance to internal stakeholders. Negotiate contracts and ensure alignment with corporate goals and risk tolerance. Support compliance efforts and risk mitigation strategies for high-risk legal matters. Develop and maintain standard contract templates and legal documentation. Enforce and protect company intellectual property, including trademarks, copyrights, patents, and trade secrets. Manage IP disputes (e.g., infringement claims, cease and desist letters, UDRPs). Provide legal support in areas such as product development, ecommerce, logistics, and facilities. Stay up to date on employment law and provide related legal support. Collaborate cross-functionally to support various departments including HR, IT, Finance, and Marketing. Perform additional legal duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum
8 years of experience
as a Paralegal in a corporate environment. Bachelor's degree
and
Paralegal Certificate
(or equivalent legal education from an accredited institution). Strong background in corporate law, contracts, intellectual property, and employment law. Exceptional
analytical, negotiation, and communication
skills. Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated. Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Comfortable working in a
fast-paced, high-volume
environment.
