Senior Estimator – Shell & Masonry Contractor

CEO Position Overview We are looking for a
Shell and Masonry Contractor Estimator
who will deliver accurate, detailed cost estimates for construction projects. This role requires expertise in materials, labor, and construction processes, with a strong focus on masonry and shell components. Key Responsibilities Project Analysis:
Review project plans and specifications to determine shell and masonry requirements. Cost Estimation:
Prepare detailed cost breakdowns for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors. Vendor & Subcontractor Coordination:
Solicit and analyze bids to ensure accurate, competitive pricing. Quantity Takeoffs:
Execute detailed takeoffs for all masonry and shell components. Budget Development:
Support project budgets and provide cost-effective recommendations. Proposal Preparation:
Draft and present client proposals, outlining scope, costs, and timelines. Collaboration:
Partner with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients for alignment. Market Research:
Stay informed on industry trends, materials, and labor costs. Documentation:
Maintain thorough records of estimates and proposals. Qualifications Bachelor's in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field. Proven experience as an Estimator in shell/masonry construction. Proficiency in estimating tools (Bluebeam, Onscreen Takeoff, or similar). Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and regulations. Excellent analytical, mathematical, and negotiation skills. Attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure. Preferred Skills: Project management or construction supervision experience. Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar design software. Estimating certifications preferred.
