Environment, Health and Safety Manager

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Managerto lead the implementation of EHS programs and compliance initiatives for the construction operations in New Albany. This role plays a critical part in building and sustaining a strong safety culture and ensuring alignment with local regulations and global safety standards. Responsibilities Partner with line management to integrate EHS into daily operations and project planning. Implement and monitor the EHS Management System across project sites. Conduct EHS audits, inspections, and assessments to ensure compliance. Develop site-specific safety plans, procedures, and risk mitigation strategies. Lead and support incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented. Coordinate with contractors, government agencies, and clients on EHS-related matters. Maintain up-to-date EHS documentation and training records. Track and report key safety metrics, including incident rates and training completion. Ensure all incidents are reported and responded to promptly. Provide ongoing EHS training and ensure emergency response preparedness. Use platforms such as ACC and DataScope for EHS monitoring and reporting. Talent Profile Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field; OR 10+ years of relevant EHS experience in the construction sector. Safety certifications preferred: CSP, ASP, CHST, OHST, or SHEP. Completion of OSHA 30-Hour Construction, Incident Investigation training, OSHA 500. Strong working knowledge of EHS systems and regulatory requirements. Formal training in incident investigation methods (TapRooT, 5 Whys, etc.). Fluent in English with the ability to communicate effectively with teams and stakeholders. Strong communication and leadership skills with a hands-on approach.
