ABOUT THE JOB:

Legal Logistics Consulting is hiring for the following position on behalf of a growing firm located in Austin, Texas. The position is a paralegal with an interest in estate planning and probate. The job would include start to finish client work in estate planning with clients spanning a wide range of net worth and desires for their estate plan. Your probate docket would span local counties with clients in a variety of financial and family situations. The job entails: Managing status, caseload, and client communication for estate planning and probate clients. Attending meetings for estate planning clients to help manage the case plan and relationship alongside an attorney. Drafting estate planning documents, including wills, revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, corporation documents, etc. Meeting with clients after they have lost a loved one to develop a plan for asset transfer, most often through the Texas probate process. Guiding clients through the probate process and work alongside an attorney in meeting requirements for executors and administrators appointed by the Court. Assisting with the distribution of assets, drafting settlement agreements, and preparing estate tax returns when needed to assist in asset transfer for probate clients. ABOUT THE FIRM:

The job is hybrid, meaning you should expect to spend two or three days in our office. (Must be in Austin or willing to relocate. Experience with estate planning and/or probate work in Texas (ideally 1-3 years). Energetic and driven personality who is prepared to jump in and be heavily client facing. Attention to detail and organized.
