Facilities and Maintenance Manager
to oversee our production facility and ensure reliability, safety, and compliance across all systems. What You'll Do: Lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for HVAC, cleanroom systems, utilities, and building infrastructure. Ensure compliance with ISO 13485, FDA, and EHS regulations. Supervise maintenance technicians and manage vendor relationships. Optimize budgets, spare parts inventory, and asset performance. Collaborate with production and quality teams to minimize downtime. Drive sustainability and continuous improvement initiatives. Respond to facility emergencies and maintain readiness protocols. What We're Looking For: Required: Bachelor's in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years in regulated manufacturing (medical devices, biotech, pharma). Expertise in HVAC, BAS, cleanroom systems, and CMMS. Strong leadership and project management skills. Preferred: Experience in medical device or cleanroom environments. CFM, LEED AP, or similar certifications. Familiarity with ISO 13485, FDA regulations, and CAPA processes. Working Environment: On-site role in a cleanroom and controlled manufacturing facility. Physical activity required (lifting, climbing, inspections). Occasional after-hours emergency response. Why Duke Empirical?
