Nidec Mobility (Automotive Electronics) seeks a highly experienced Equipment Maintenance Technician (automated electronics (SMT / ECU) assembly lines who is looking for part time weekend work (1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts). High Sat / Sun Pay for the High Performer. 1st 5:30AM-1:45p 2nd 1:30PM-9:45p 3rd 9:30PM - 5:45a Objective Under direction of the Maintenance Technician Supervisor, technicians performs various skilled and complex tasks in the repair and maintenance of automated electronic assembly production machinery and equipment which may include, but is not limited to, high speed automated -assembly line equipment, contact welding and press machines, axial and radial inserters. Responsible to continuously improve the equipment and machinery while demonstrating excellence in maintenance service. Essential Responsibilities Monitor, analyze, diagnose, fine tune or repair problems in conjunction with manufacturing engineering and production supervisors. Reads and interprets blueprints, drawings, wiring schematic diagrams, and complex equipment manuals. Utilizes basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills in problem assessment. Assists in testing and evaluating equipment performance. . Assists with developing and maintaining the equipment spare parts inventory. May complete purchase requisitions for the purchase of spare parts. Assists in investigating causes of machine problems, raw materials, tooling and equipment. Recommends improvements to processes and equipment to improve efficiency. Properly documents new procedures and machine changes or additions. Accurately completes all paperwork associated with PM and machine downtime. Assists in creating special fixtures or modify existing equipment with the use of surface grinders, milling machines, arc welder, and lathes. Utilizes various diagnostic equipment and measuring devices such as voltmeters, calipers, micrometers, and oscilloscopes. Supports and participates in the Company's management and quality system including continuous improvement efforts. Experience: 5 years experience, within automated assembly equipment Education:

High School or Equivalent Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Strong knowledge of electro-mechanical equipment operating under PLC's, robotics, machining, pneumatics, hydraulics, and sensor controls. Expert experience with various diagnostic equipment and measuring devices such as voltmeters, calipers, micrometers, and oscilloscopes. Effective interpersonal and communication skills with strong time and project management skills. Basic PC skills (Microsoft Office, Word and Excel).Familiarity with computerized PM program preferred. Preventative maintenance experience with exposure to computer software and systems. NOTE This position
