About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced
Superintendent
to oversee field operations for commercial construction projects. The Superintendent is responsible for on-site leadership, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards, while coordinating closely with project management and subcontractor teams. Key Responsibilities: Lead daily on-site supervision of commercial construction projects. Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel. Enforce compliance with safety standards and company policies. Monitor project progress, quality, and workmanship to ensure adherence to plans and specifications. Proactively identify and resolve field issues to minimize delays. Conduct regular site meetings with project teams and stakeholders. Maintain accurate daily reports, logs, and documentation of site activities. Collaborate with the Project Manager to align on budgets, schedules, and client expectations. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction (drywall and interiors experience preferred). Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations. Proven ability to manage schedules, subcontractors, and job site operations. Excellent leadership and communication skills with a focus on teamwork. Proficiency in project management and scheduling software (Procore, MS Project, or similar). OSHA certification preferred.
