Job Title: Senior Project Manager – Concrete & Structural Projects (Federal)

Long Beach, CA Position Summary: We are hiring a
Senior Project Manager
with extensive experience delivering
concrete and structural projects
in the federal sector. Based in Long Beach, this individual will oversee all phases of federal construction projects, leading teams and subcontractors to ensure safe, timely, and successful delivery. Key Responsibilities: Manage the full project lifecycle for federal concrete/structural projects, from preconstruction to closeout Oversee budgets, schedules, procurement, and subcontractor performance Ensure compliance with all federal project requirements, including documentation and reporting standards Collaborate with government agencies, inspectors, and contracting officers to maintain compliance Lead project meetings with clients, design teams, and internal staff Resolve field and design issues while keeping projects on track with cost and schedule goals Mentor and develop project engineers and assistant project managers Provide monthly project reporting and forecasting to senior leadership Qualifications: 10–15+ years of project management experience in
concrete and structural construction Proven track record delivering
federal projects
(USACE, NAVFAC, VA, or similar) Strong knowledge of FAR regulations, federal compliance, and project documentation requirements Experience managing projects valued at
$20M–$100M+ Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project/Primavera, or equivalent project management tools Strong leadership, negotiation, and client relationship management skills Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
