As we continue to grow and expand our operations, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team. This role will be crucial in overseeing our financial operations, acquisition integration, and leveraging our tech platform to ensure accurate and efficient accounting practices. Position Overview:

The VP of Finance manages corporate services that are shared across all companies under the Raftrx umbrella including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Corporate Accounting. The Director works across all functions to ensure efficient and effective operation of shared services that are scalable as the company grows. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Sage accounting software and a solid background in shared services to support our growth and expansion efforts. Key Goals: Ensure all payments are made on time and accurately each week for both AP and Payroll across all brands. Provide excellent customer service to business partners with proactive issue identification and resolution. Communicate and collaborate with the Controller and ensure all accounting is correct throughout the period and at month end. Manage the organization proactively to streamline as needed, integrate acquisitions, and audit transactions to ensure policy compliance. Provide accurate and timely cash flow forecasts each week to the Treasurer to help manage working capital. Key Responsibilities: Accounting Oversight:

Supervise and manage key accounting processes that are under the shared services mantle including integration of new companies into existing processes. Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the shared services department. Implement best practices and automation to enhance accounting workflows and reporting accuracy. Sage Software Utilization:

Utilize Sage accounting software to manage financial transactions and streamline accounting processes. Ensure the system is used effectively for managing project costs and accounts payable/receivable. Compliance & Controls:

Ensure adherence to accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and company policies. Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records. Project Accounting:

Understand accounting activities for roofing and construction projects, including cost tracking, project budgeting, and revenue recognition. Collaborate with regional accounting team to ensure accuracy of data capture. Audit Coordination:

Coordinate and liaise with external auditors during financial audits, providing necessary documentation and addressing any audit findings or recommendations related to shared services. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA designation preferred. Minimum of 10-15 years of accounting experience, with a focus on construction or related industries. Proven experience with Sage accounting software and its applications in financial management. Proven experience in a shared services environment at scale within a growing company. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights. Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a track record of successfully leading accounting teams. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, with advanced spreadsheet skills.
