Founded in 2005 and headquartered in Durham, NC, we have successfully completed over 2 million square feet of educational and commercial space across multiple states. Our approach integrates finance, design, and construction to deliver high-quality, cost-effective learning environments tailored to the unique needs of each community. Position Overview We are seeking a proactive and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and manage charter school construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in educational facility construction, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering projects that meet our high standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Project Leadership: Lead and manage charter school and commercial construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Client Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, including school administrators and boards, to understand their needs and ensure their expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle. Team Coordination: Coordinate and supervise project teams, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal staff, to ensure seamless collaboration and efficient project execution. Budget and Schedule Management: Develop and manage project budgets and schedules, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions as needed to address any deviations. Quality Assurance: Ensure all construction activities comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and Hubrich Contracting's quality standards. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, and daily logs. Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, risks, and issues. Problem Solving: Proactively identify potential issues and implement effective solutions to mitigate risks and keep projects on track. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on educational or institutional facilities. Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project). Travel: Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
