Supply Chain Manager

Arkadia Search Recruiting, New York, New York, United States

Save Job

We’re looking for someone to take ownership of our pharmaceutical supply chain operations, keeping products available, compliant, and cost effective. This role is all about making the process run smoothly across suppliers, manufacturers, logistics partners, and internal teams. You’ll be the go to person for keeping things on track, solving problems, and driving improvements.

This is a manager-of-processes role with a lot of accountability, but no direct people management at this time.

What You’ll Do:

Manage supply and demand planning so the right products are in the right place at the right time. Keep a close eye on inventory levels, shelf life, and potential risks, and act quickly to prevent shortages or waste. Be the main point of contact for suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics partners, ensuring on-time delivery and resolving issues when they come up. Make sure documentation and processes meet FDA and Good Distribution Practice standards. Use ERP systems and data dashboards to keep forecasts accurate, processes efficient, and reports clear. Lead regular supply and demand reviews with business, sales, and quality teams to align priorities and surface risks early.

What Success Looks Like:

Products are consistently available with minimal shortages or overstock. Suppliers and logistics partners meet their delivery commitments. Forecasts get more accurate each quarter. Inventory is healthy, turning efficiently without costly write-offs. Compliance records are audit-ready with no surprises.

What We’re Looking For:

5+ years of supply chain or logistics experience, ideally in pharma or medical devices. Strong background in inventory planning, forecasting, and vendor coordination. Hands on ERP experience (NetSuite or Microsoft Dynamics is a plus). Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with data. Great communicator who can influence without direct authority. Problem-solver with a bias for action when things get ambiguous.

Nice to Have:

Familiarity with FDA/cGMP practices, working with external manufacturing and logistics partners, and tools like Power BI or Tableau. APICS/ASCM certifications or basic SQL skills are also a plus.
