Job Description

The Project Manager will lead the execution of critical strategic initiatives spanning IT, operations, and clinical teams. This role partners closely with internal cross-functional groups and external collaborators to plan, develop, and launch products that meet defined specifications. Responsibilities include facilitating planning sessions, ensuring delivery of user stories, aligning stakeholders, and driving projects to completion on time, within budget, and in scope. Success in this position requires a detail-oriented, technically fluent leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about execution, accountability, and agile excellence.

Serve as the primary liaison across clients, vendors, and internal teams, fostering strong relationships and resolving challenges. Plan, manage, and track multiple concurrent projects to ensure deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Define project scope, resources, and success metrics; lead kickoff meetings and maintain consistent communication with stakeholders. Monitor progress using standard project management tools and provide clear updates on timelines, budgets, and risks. Identify and mitigate project risks to maintain quality and prevent delays. Drive accountability across cross-functional teams to align outcomes with business objectives and product goals. Communicate key project updates and decisions to senior leadership. Support the company’s mission, values, compliance standards, and contribute to policy development and special initiatives.

Qualifications / Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or Life Sciences PMP, PMI-ACP or equivalent Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Six Sigma 5+ years of project management experience in healthcare, medical laboratory, medical device, pharmaceutical, biotech, or a related field. Proven track record managing diagnostic assay development and validation projects with cross-functional teams (e.g., healthcare providers, wet lab scientists, software engineers) under design control and within regulated environments (FDA 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, ISO 15189, CLIA/CAP, NYSDOH). Strong ability to scope projects, develop realistic timelines, and communicate effectively across diverse stakeholders to build alignment and drive execution. Demonstrated success working independently and collaboratively in dynamic settings, applying analytical and strategic problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable engaging both small teams and large groups.
