Job Summary: The Inventory Control Manager is responsible for the accuracy, movement, and availability of all company-owned inventory—whether stored in company warehouses, Amazon FBA, or at third-party manufacturers. This role ensures inventory integrity across all locations, supports subscription fulfillment, and manages inbound receiving and inter-location transfers. Inventory is currently tracked and managed through the company’s ERP system; no warehouse management system (WMS) is in place.
Responsibilities: Maintain accurate records of all inventory across internal warehouses, Amazon FBA, and manufacturer-held stock using the ERP system. Coordinate and document inventory transfers between locations, ensuring timely and efficient movement. Monitor and manage inventory pools dedicated to subscription products to prevent stockouts and ensure uninterrupted fulfillment. Oversee receiving processes to ensure inventory is properly documented, inspected, and entered into the ERP system. Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to maintain high levels of inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies. Leverage ERP tools to track inventory levels, movements, and forecasts in the absence of a WMS. Generate actionable reports on inventory status, turnover, and forecasting to support purchasing and operational decisions.
Qualifications: 2–4 years of experience in inventory control, supply chain, or warehouse operations Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience with ERP systems for inventory management Background in e-commerce and multi-channel warehouse environments is a plus Excellent organizational and communication skills
