Executive Producer, Content Transformation and Immersive Experiences - 250276
Responsibilities
Content Transformation & Strategy
• Lead the transformation of IEEE’s owned content into modern, scalable stories and experiences. • Partner with the IEEE History Center and IT subject matter experts to develop tools, processes, and operational approaches for content curation and asset management. • Serve as strategist and creative director, ensuring the right heritage content is produced and reaches the right audiences on the right platforms through partnership with and guidance from our marketing and brand SMEs. • Greenlight projects, recommend CEE departmental funding, and contribute to business cases and proposals for Board, Marketing or committee approval as appropriate. Heritage Content Activation and Community Building
• Act as a bridge between content creators and the market, engaging museums, media distributors, and other partners to amplify exposure and identify promising distribution opportunities. • Build systems to spotlight milestones, awards, and significant IEEE achievements through compelling multimedia content and live experience activations. • Works with and through IEEE Marketing to identify and leverage distribution. • Works across the organization with key stakeholders to build community and ensure that each activation and event encourages ongoing volunteer, event participant and conference/event stakeholder engagement. • Understands data strategy and works hand in hand with IT and Chief Data Officer. Collaboration & Partnerships
• Work with the IEEE History Center and Volunteer Committees to inventory, curate, and prioritize content, creating a sustainable development pipeline. • Embed multilingual and multicultural considerations into all content planning and production. • Collaborate across IT, Marketing, and other departments to align messaging, tools, and processes. • Ensure compliance with rights management and clearance standards. • Engage internal SMEs, distributors, broadcasters, and media platforms to identify how IEEE content could fit market demand. • Partner with global marketing teams to shape content packaging and positioning for maximum reach. • Guide agencies and partners on individual activations working closely with our multimedia and studio team. Exhibits & Live Experiences
• Develop exhibit programs and strategies in collaboration with historians, editors, and content producers. Include and envision programs that have sustained impact. • Provide creative direction and oversee the integrated voice and presentation of exhibits. • Engage museums, cultural institutions, and event venues to create activations tailored to their audiences. • Produce launches, activations, panels, and live experiences—both as stand-alone events and embedded within IEEE conferences and meetings. Innovation & Emerging Media
• Champion the use of cutting-edge production tools and platforms to create immersive, future-ready experiences. Integrate computer-generated graphics (CGI), interactive media, and advanced video production into digital storytelling and exhibits. • Identify, engage and collaborate with specialized agencies and production houses for filming, special effects, etc. • Design and deploy augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) installations that bring IEEE’s heritage and stories to life in interactive ways. • Leverage artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning for personalization, content recommendation, and dynamic audience engagement when and if appropriate. • Explore and implement immersive environments such as holographic displays, projection mapping, and hybrid digital/physical event platforms. • Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and continuously evaluate their application to amplify IEEE’s content reach and impact. • Value and maintain authenticity in storytelling. • Leverage marketing shared services whenever available and align with marketing on social media, PR and communications services.
