About the Role We’re looking for a

reliable, safety-minded Material Handler

to join our manufacturing operations team. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in keeping production moving by managing the flow of materials, maintaining accurate inventory, and ensuring timely deliveries to the production floor. This is a hands-on role where attention to detail, teamwork, and safety come first. What You’ll Do

Material Handling:

Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments. Store and label materials properly. Deliver materials to production lines on time.

Inventory Accuracy:

Perform cycle counts, track material usage, and update inventory systems to ensure accurate stock levels.

Equipment Operation:

Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment. Perform basic equipment checks and report maintenance needs.

Documentation:

Keep accurate records of all material movements, transactions, and discrepancies. Assist with shipping paperwork as needed.

Safety First:

Follow all safety protocols, use proper lifting techniques, and wear required PPE. Help maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with production, procurement, and quality teams to keep materials flowing smoothly. Suggest process improvements to increase efficiency.

What We’re Looking For

High school diploma or equivalent (additional forklift or material handling certifications a plus).

Previous warehouse or material handling experience (manufacturing environment preferred).

Forklift and pallet jack operation skills.

Basic computer and inventory management skills.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to lift up to

50 lbs

and work on your feet for extended periods.

Team player with strong communication skills.

Nice to Have

Experience operating a

saw machine

or other

manufacturing machine tools .

Prior technical training in equipment setup or material processing.

Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Physical Activity:

Regular lifting, carrying, standing, and repetitive motion.

Work Conditions:

Noisy, fast-paced environment with varying temperatures (hot or cool depending on production).

PPE & Safety:

Safety goggles, gloves, hearing protection, and respirators may be required based on materials.

Teamwork:

You’ll work closely with machine operators, technicians, and supervisors to meet production goals.
