About the Role
Seeking an experienced Data Warehouse Analyst to join its Application Services team. This role focuses on Snowflake Data Cloud and Informatica (PowerCenter + IDMC) for enterprise-level data integration, data modeling, and business intelligence delivery.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned data professional with deep experience in cloud data warehousing, ETL/ELT, and BI reporting. This position will play a critical role in optimizing FDOT's statewide data platforms for reporting, analytics, and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Snowflake Data Cloud solutions, including data replication, extraction, loading, cleansing, and transformation.
- Develop and administer Informatica PowerCenter and IDMC tools (CDI, MI, CAI, PowerExchange, etc.).
- Lead data modeling efforts to optimize warehouse structures for reporting and analytics.
- Build, test, and prototype Power BI and Cognos reports/dashboards.
- Ensure data quality, metadata management, and governance across enterprise systems.
- Integrate relational database platforms (DB2, SQL Server, Oracle) and legacy mainframe systems (COBOL, JCL, DB2).
- Support platform administration, including IDMC Secure Agent Infrastructure and Snowflake Cloud Administration.
- Perform Linux administration tasks such as patching, disk management, and automation scripting.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to capture reporting requirements, validate data accuracy, and ensure alignment with business needs.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years of IT experience in data management, data warehousing, and business intelligence.
- Hands-on expertise with:
- Snowflake Data Cloud (Development & Administration)
- Informatica PowerCenter + IDMC (ETL/ELT development and administration)
- Data Modeling & Data Warehousing
- Power BI and/or Cognos reporting and dashboard development
- Strong knowledge of relational databases: DB2, SQL Server, Oracle.
- Familiarity with mainframe environments (COBOL, JCL, DB2).
- Linux/RedHat administration (security patching, scripting, disk management).
- Informatica Data Quality & Enterprise Data Catalog.
- Tableau dashboard/reporting experience.
- Cloud platform administration for performance tuning (Snowflake + IDMC).
