We are seeking an experienced full-time

Mechanical/Plumbing/HVAC Designer

to support engineering teams on large-scale projects, including Senior Living, Independent Living Facilities (ILF), Assisted Living Facilities (ALF), and Multifamily Mid-rise developments. This position involves both new construction and renovation projects, providing design, drafting, and coordination support. The Designer will assist in calculations, schematic layouts, design development, and construction documents with a strong emphasis on senior living, healthcare, multifamily, retail, and community projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare plans for new or modified mechanical/plumbing/HVAC systems. Utilize CAD and Revit software to create layout diagrams, schematics, and construction documents. Assist engineers with calculations, design development, and technical documentation. Produce schematic design drawings, design development drawings, and construction documents. Coordinate designs with multiple disciplines to ensure project quality and accuracy. Contribute to both new construction and renovation projects, ensuring compliance with design standards and policies.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD with 3–5 years of experience required. Hands-on experience in mechanical/plumbing/HVAC design build. Demonstrated success in drafting for engineering and architectural projects. Knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures in engineering/architecture. Ability to learn and perform computer-based design techniques in accordance with drafting and quality standards. Strong communication skills, good judgment, and teamwork experience. Skilled in the analysis and design of engineering elements. Experience with commercial, senior living, and multifamily mid-rise projects (new construction and renovation). Autodesk AutoCAD 2019 or later Autodesk Revit 2019 or later Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project)
