About the Company
Our client is a rapidly growing company specializing in commercial signage installation. With continued growth and a strong pipeline of projects, they are looking to add an experienced Installation Foreman to their team.
Position Overview
The Installation Foreman will lead an on-site crew responsible for the installation of various types of signage. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with sign installation—TXDOT experience is highly preferred, but candidates with other commercial signage backgrounds will be considered. A CDL license is strongly preferred, and the role requires someone who is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing crews in the field.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coordinate, and oversee sign installation crews on job sites
Ensure proper placement, alignment, and secure installation of signage according to specifications
Read and interpret plans, blueprints, and work orders
Operate necessary equipment and ensure safe handling of tools and machinery
Maintain compliance with OSHA, TXDOT, and company safety standards
Troubleshoot installation issues and provide on-the-spot solutions
Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and team members
Manage schedules, materials, and project deadlines to ensure efficient completion
Qualifications
Required:
Minimum 3+ years of experience in sign installation (commercial, highway, or municipal) Preferred:
TXDOT signage installation experience Preferred:
Valid CDL Class A or B license Strong leadership skills with proven experience managing field crews Ability to read construction drawings and interpret installation specifications Comfort operating cranes, lifts, and other installation equipment Commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift up to 75 lbs
