Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Scheduler to join a high-performing team delivering a large-scale manufacturing facility for a major aerospace client in St. Louis, Missouri. This role is embedded directly on-site and requires a hands-on, collaborative professional who thrives in fast-paced, complex construction environments. The project is expected to continue for a minimum of five to six years and involves coordination with over 15 subcontractors at any given time.

Key Responsibilities: Lead scheduling efforts for a multi-billion-dollar construction project, acting as the primary scheduling representative for the general contractor. Develop, maintain, and analyze detailed project schedules using Oracle Primavera P6. Collaborate closely with project managers, superintendents, and field teams to ensure alignment between schedule and execution. Interface with multiple subcontractors to drive schedule adherence and proactively resolve conflicts. Mentor and oversee two junior schedulers, providing guidance and leadership to ensure consistency and accuracy in schedule development. Participate in project controls and planning meetings, contributing to strategic decision-making and reporting. Build strong relationships with operational personnel to support process improvement and deliver measurable results. Support project management activities as needed, bringing a hybrid understanding of scheduling and execution.

Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in project controls, engineering, or construction scheduling. Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Primavera P6; must be highly proficient. At least 5 years of leadership experience, preferably in roles involving mentorship or team oversight. Proven track record working on large-scale construction projects ranging from $10 million to $2 billion. Strong background in general contracting, with demonstrated ownership of scheduling responsibilities. Experience across diverse sectors such as stadium renovations, education facilities, solar fields, data centers, and oil and gas. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer). Basic familiarity with Bluebeam, Autodesk Build, and Box. Excellent communication, coordination, and client service skills. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work collaboratively with diverse teams.

Interview Process: Initial screening or one-on-one interview with the Director of Scheduling. Second round with the on-site Superintendent and Project Manager. Final step includes a practical P6 assessment to evaluate real-world scheduling capabilities.

Additional Notes: This position is ideal for a seasoned scheduler who has also contributed to project management functions and is comfortable taking ownership of the scheduling process in a dynamic, high-stakes environment. The successful candidate will be the central figure orchestrating the schedule across all trades and stakeholders—essentially the “puppet master” of the project timeline.
