Facility Maintenance Technician

The maintenance and improvement of our over 150,000 sqft of state-of-the-art design and manufacturing facility is central to our ability to create, produce and deliver at the level required by our customers. We need team members who thrive on seeing every part of the operation perform at its peak. Job Responsibilities -Conducting repairs and implementing improvements around the facility from the installation of new machinery to repairs to the building itself. -Performing quality checks and basic routine maintenance on HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems throughout facility. -Checking into security concerns and mitigating potential safety hazards. -General duties such as cleaning, painting, loading and unloading trucks, minor carpentry, electrical and plumbing work, moving heavy equipment, etc. -General outdoor duties such as sweeping, cleaning, snow removal, waste collection, etc. -Participation in major facility improvement efforts. Required Experience & Qualifications -3 years experience in a maintenance or general fabrication role -Basic skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical -Ability to lift 100 lbs safely and repeatedly -Demonstrated ability to work safely and independently in an industrial environment -Solid computer skills with proficiency in MS Office suite -Good ability to communicate and collaborate with internal team members and external resources Should have: -Ability to operate forklift, pallet jack, and other material handling equipment -Advanced carpentry, machining, welding, plumbing, electrical, or fabrication skills The Company Crye Precision has been designing and manufacturing apparel and equipment for America's fighting forces as well as domestic and international law enforcement groups for over 20 years. Compensation The hourly range for this role is between $25 - $30/hr.
