Electronics CCA Designer McLeansville, NC Contract Position Pay Estimated: $49.23/Hour This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors, (geographical location, etc.) Ability to Obtain Secret Clearance Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. Responsibilities: * Design and layout printed circuit boards (PCBs) using Mentor Graphics Xpedition and related tools for mission-critical electronics. * Participate in library management, part creation, and 3D model integration using Footprint Expert, SolidWorks, NX, or CREO. * Contribute to schematic capture, bill of materials (BOM) creation, and generation of fabrication and assembly documentation (e.g., ODB++ packages, 3D models). * Ensure designs comply with IPC and industry manufacturing standards. * Support hands-on prototyping, design verification, and communication with fabrication suppliers to resolve design documentation questions. Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in CCA or PCB design. * Eligible for DoD Secret Clearance (current clearance preferred, but not required). * Minimum of 2 years' experience using Mentor Graphics Xpedition. * Working knowledge of CCA fabrication techniques and industry standards. Preferred Qualifications: * Proficiency in Mentor Graphics tools: Familiarity with Altium Designer. * Experience with schematic capture, 3D mechanical modeling, and digital documentation workflows. * Knowledge of Hyperlynx for signal integrity or power integrity analysis.
