* *Maintenance and Repair:* Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections on construction trucks, including oil changes, fluid checks, and filter replacements. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
* *Troubleshooting:* Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify problems and develop effective repair solutions. Troubleshoot engine, transmission, braking, and steering systems.
* *Parts Replacement:* Replace and install parts such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and steering components. Ensure proper alignment and calibration after replacements.
* *Safety and Compliance:* Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing repairs and maintenance tasks. Ensure all equipment meets safety standards before returning to service.
* *Documentation:* Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed. Document parts usage and inventory levels. Provide detailed reports on equipment condition and repair history.
* *Team Collaboration:* Coordinate with other mechanics and technicians to prioritize workload and ensure timely repairs. Communicate effectively with supervisors and equipment operators regarding maintenance schedules and repair timelines.
* *Training and Development:* Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements in diesel engines and construction equipment. Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
