Job Summary

The Mechanic is primarily responsible for performing daily inspections of trucks, forklifts, rental equipment, and Stihl products to ensure the safety of our employees and customers.

Pay for this Role

Negotiable, Depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Forklift and vehicle inspections.
  • Perform rental equipment inspections both before and after use.
  • Complete truck DOT inspections as instructed by law.
  • Complete oil changes on equipment and vehicles as needed.
  • Repair equipment and vehicles as needed.
  • Activate Stihl products as they are purchased and needed.
  • Complete preventative maintenance on all products and equipment.
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Frequently required to walk to and from various areas within the facility.
  • Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts.

Desired Skills, Knowledge, And Qualifications

  • Ability to analyze technical problems, determine root causes and develop remediation strategies for permanent resolutions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to recommend changes to drive business objectives.
  • Ability to assess situations to determine the importance, urgency, and risks, making clear decisions which are timely and in the best interests of the organization.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Have a basic knowledge of computers, hardware and software, and have a proficiency in design software.
