A leading manufacturer of drilling rigs and tooling used worldwide in geotechnical, environmental, and exploration drilling is looking for a reliable and experienced
Shipping & Receiving / Inventory Specialist
to support operations and help ensure the accurate flow of materials and equipment.
Key Responsibilities: Receive, inspect, and document inbound freight including parts, tooling, and materials, and ensure all shipments meet packaging and labeling standards
Prepare, pack, and ship outbound orders—ranging from small parcel to heavy industrial equipment
Load and unload trucks using a stand-up forklift and manual pallet jacks
Perform routine and scheduled cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy
Enter transactions into Microsoft Dynamics GP (ERP system) for inventory and shipping documentation
Coordinate with purchasing and production to reconcile inventory discrepancies and meet build deadlines
Ensure all shipments meet packaging and labeling standards to prevent damage in transit
Qualifications: At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial shipping/receiving and inventory control environment
Proficient with Microsoft Dynamics GP or similar ERP platforms
Skilled in operating stand-up forklifts (Mobile Drill provides in-house certification)
Familiar with pallet jacks, shipping paperwork, and freight coordination
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage parts critical to rig builds
Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and stay active throughout the workday
