CNC Maintenance Technician
for our client in Brookfield, WI. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and calibrating CNC machines and plant equipment. The position requires both mechanical and electrical expertise, offering a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a technician who enjoys hands-on problem-solving. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic components on CNC machines and plant equipment Use precision diagnostic tools (voltmeters, oscilloscopes, gauges, lasers, etc.) Perform alignment, fitting, and replacement of machine parts (bearings, spindles, ways, etc.) Install and maintain electrical systems, wiring circuits, and distribution centers Troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, and electronic controls Fabricate or machine replacement parts using shop equipment Assist with equipment installations, removals, and vendor coordination Follow lockout/tagout procedures and maintain a safe, organized work area Qualifications Completed apprenticeship or 4–5 years of CNC maintenance experience Strong background in CNC mechanical and electrical repair Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electronic controls Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications Solid math and trigonometry skills OSHA certifications preferred Forklift experience a plus Benefits $40/hour pay rate + overtime opportunities 1st shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM Hands-on, challenging work with advanced CNC technology Stable, long-term career opportunity with a reputable manufacturer
